I doubt there are many bots. There was a China shill though. That dude was a full blown tankie.

I used to think almost none but with the recent stats stating almost 30% of internet postes are bots it has me wondering.
Especially when there have been a number of threads recently thay have been flat out fake news.
Do bots include Democratic Socialists/Cultural Marxists?

What happened to the friendly pup?
I put her in chatGPT with the command to make her vicious.
I'll probably change it back, it just amused me in the moment to have a vicious golden retriever.

Very few bots
A handful of people that post bot posts from social media thinking they're real

many posters link information that is clearly bot propaganda
Yeah, you should stop doing that.

This sound's like an answer a bot would give.

If you’re a bot, I’ll be Spartacus…

I can confirm, I am not a bot. I'm real.

Close to 0%
I think we've had a few, but they're usually spotted as pretty obvious and removed.
Bots are good for reinforcing the idea that a viewpoint is popular. Bots joining and upvoting posts, for example, but I don't think that matters here. I do think it matters on X.

I read somewhere that 46.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

A pretty good chunk of the new posters are bots. No doubt about it. Of the regular daily crew I'd say less than 5%.

There is no official data or verified statistic regarding the exact number or percentage of bots on TigerDroppings.com.
However, based on discussions and observations from users within the forum:
Perceived Presence: Users frequently debate the presence of bots, with some suggesting that many "troll" or highly repetitive accounts might be automated or "paid bots".
Suspected Characteristics: Potential bots or artificial accounts are often suspected when they show patterns like generic, auto-generated usernames (e.g., "BigDeal145"), extremely high-frequency posting, or consistent, thematic, and rapid replies.
Political/Topic Spam: Discussions on the site, particularly in the "Political Talk" or "O-T Lounge" sections, have mentioned that the board can be subject to spam from other forums or coordinated campaigns.
AI Discussion: There is active discussion among users regarding the increasing ability of AI to mimic human posting styles on the platform, leading to suspicion about the authenticity of certain, high-volume accounts.
In summary, while users express concern about bots, there is no verified count, and many suspected accounts may simply be human trolls or users with very high posting frequency.

Alot!!! I've said it several times.
What I don't understand is some of the obvious ones will post and show a high post count, but I've never seen them before and I'm on here daily....

I imagine those are posters from other boards on this site who think the poli board is crazy and only come here to echo some form of that opinion.
