What is your definition of the line between disagreement/Dislike and TDS?

I agree with the vast majority of the policy decisions and focus of Trump's presidency. I think he has done a good job.

I do not care at all for the man himself, his history, or the way he talks and treats others.

I would have no desire to know him or count him as a friend, but I like having him in the White House.

A guy I work with is all in MAGA and says that I have a low level form of TDS.

Where is the line?

The line as a voter is what he is doing for you. Period!

You are nowhere even close to having TDS.

TDS : Can’t give him credit for anything, even inarguably positive things that he accomplishes. Would like to see him “unalived.” Get worked up over silly crap like the DC pool / ballroom …. Etc etc rtc

I'm the opposite. If Trump showed up at Starbucks tomorrow morning and chatted with me for an hour it would be the greatest day of my life. And I would pay for his coffee.

Dragging us into a pointless and costly war and focusing on ballrooms, arches and pools while inflation soars and home ownership dries up for young people, all while insulting everyone from heads of state to actors and musicians average joes?

TDS is CNN water testing the reflection pool and activists wasting life's breath pouring algae in just to spite Trump.

TDS Is when you can't celebrate America because you hate Trumps guts.

TDS can turn into him being JFKed or Nixoned, or both.

When you are against common sense solutions, or on the 10-20 % side of a 90-80% issue, or automatically disagree with him no matter what his stance is. These are different levels of TDS.

I was never particularly a “fan” in his long public life prior to coming down the escalator.

I mainly thought him just a “celebrity” businessman and the guy that single-handedly killed the promising USFL in the early 80’s.

But I’ve liked most of what he has tried to accomplish as president and I have never personally questioned his love for this country.

He’s far from perfect but he’s been a hell of a lot better than anyone else either party has trotted out in all these post-Reagan years.

Ok this is a great example - dishonesty, intellectual dissonance disguised as ignorance, catch phrases, arrogantly making nonsensical connections to event's that don’t exist.

It’s got it all.

This is what you are focusing on. He is focusing on doing what’s good for America. Congratulations! You have TDS and a severe case of retardation.

Not for all the board but yes…for a small binary minded subset, that’s correct.

If you are a working class individual who actually worked your way through an education credential and developed a professional career of some sort. You work 40+ hours per week. Raised kids. Have not ever been inappropriate with a woman, much less a child.

Never even been close to being a millionaire, much less a billionaire or trillionaire.

Never shafted and refused to pay someone who completed some type of work for you.

Never shat your pants.

Never dodged the draft.

If you served honorably in the military.

If you wouldn’t be confused if someone put a miter saw in front of you and asked you to use it.

If you know how to drive a car or truck.

If you have never been friends with anyone from Russia or the ME.

If you are a practicing christian, either protestant or catholic.

If you have ever went into a grocery store and picked up your own groceries.

If you’re a man that has never worn makeup.

If your a man younger than 80 that has never worn a depends because you shite your pants.

If you have never been accused of rape or even being inappropriate with a woman.

If you haven’t filed for bankruptcy 6 (six) separate times in your life. Bankrupted a casino in the process. If you think Trump is some sort of great businessman. Or great with money. Or some master dealmaker.

Never been given permanent immunity from IRS audits.

TDS is the feeling that you relate to Trump despite the facts and characteristics that are tied to Trump. Always boggles my mind that the working people from the south lick the guy’s loafers and think of him as a tough guy,

See Crystal Preserves. As long as you don’t go as far over the TDS line as he has you should be fine.

If you do seek help immediately.

Nobody thinks Trump is a choir boy! Didn’t vote for him to be presidential or politically correct. I voted for him because he wasn’t those things. Don’t care about his life before he got into politics. What I do care about are the results and the things that were done to him and how he handled them. He was re-elected because of the bullshite that was done to him and the voters also saw that it was just that bullshite. The ones involved suffer from TDS because they hate him but don’t know why. It’s easy to regurgitate a narrative pushed by the media. They tried to assassinate him, jail him, bankrupt him, ruin his family name, lie constantly about him etc. The man still continues to put America first. Don’t care that he bankrupted a casino or filed for bankruptcy 6 times. He is still a billionaire which says he is resilient and must be doing something right. Don’t agree with everything he does and don’t agree with the antics. But, he has been been through what nobody should be put through and to me , deserves respect! MAGA BITCHES!!
