Because a bunch of lemmings and smooth brains ran around saying "trust the science!!" and calling other people "science deniers" for asking valid questions and later turning out to be absolutely correct in their assumptions during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Remember the "science" of six feet separation? The "science" of cloth masks shielding you from a microscopic virus? The "science" of rioters being perfectly ok while people alone on a beach was a hazard? The "science" of the effectiveness of the MNRA vaccine? The "science" of the viral lab in China being immediately dismissed as the source of Covid 19? The "science" of the Wuhan wet market being the absolute source?

What about the "science" of the global ice caps being melted by now? The "science" of hundreds of wrong climate predictions? The "science" of stronger and more frequent hurricanes hitting the east coast and gulf coast? The "science" of the running out of crude oil by 2010? The "science" of the world running out of essential metal ore by 2000? The "science" of a new ice age? The "science" of arsenic based living organisms? The "science" of unlimited genders?

Believing a cloth masks could filter out viruses is equally as stupid as the "science" of bloodletting was.

The point is a lot of """science"""" is put out there for the lemmings to be controlled any grand ole time it is desired. And those same lemmings will even try to police and denigrate the "science deniers" who fail to fall in line.

Masks were mitigation, not a force field. Touch grass; stop watching so much Star Trek.

It was also funny to see science deniers saying they were suffocating with masks on, when O2 molecules are at least 200 times smaller than a virus.


And about climate, your problem is with people's interpretation of models and studies. Again, another reason why you'd be disqualified. What exactly is wrong with the models? Research didn't say there would be an increased frequency of storms, just a larger number of storms becoming Cat 4 and Cat 5. (Check Mexico's coast, for example) This has happened.

You see what the inventor of the internet said and ran with it, instead of looking where you should have. The models.

Theoretically? Because they will cut taxes, spending and regulations and that they are more likely to defend the Constitution.

My dad nearly lost his job as a fireman because the fire department was 100% democrat. When he let it be known that he was supporting Nixon against Kennedy, he was raked over the coals by the fire chief over it. Not long after that he was on a stack of logs at a telephone pole plant on fire and one of the firemen that had cussed out my dad over his support for Nixon was supposed to wait fir a signal before turning on a hose that requiref two men to hold it once the water was turned on. He turned it on anyway and it sent my dad sailing and he broke his back and was in the hospital for a year and a back brace for five years. He had to sue the (democrat run) state to get the disability benefits he deserved as the fire chief played politics with my dad vis-a-vis, my dad's family.
