450 miles with holes is not a "border wall"

I'm glad his political career died last night so electable candidates can move forward for 2024.

It's going to take going through the five stages of grief for most to get a grip on this. But going forward from 11/08/2022, Trump Support = Election Losses.

MAGA is his legacy. You’d be stupid to ignore that people don’t want America first policies.

His legacy should include pulling back the curtain on the corruption in government and media. He couldn't drain the swamp, but he set the stage. 95% of people had no idea what gaslight meant, and now it's part of the normal lexicon here. He put a spotlight on the ugly underbelly of the American ruling class.

Also, take a look at movement in several states, including NY, VA, Florida (also a Desantis win), NV, etc. I don't care who he endorsed (I can probably name 5), that is a direct result of the movement he started.

You're a shortsighted sourpuss when it comes to Trump and it makes you look like a massive flake, which is almost certainly what you are given your history on this board from a political perspective.

Trump burned those bridges with the very sort of aggressive demeanor that his followers demand of all pols, now.

Politics is about making the most people possible like you and your policies. Trump's ego convinced him (and a large % of his small GOP population) that he had a mandate that he simply never did.

The problem was that working with more moderate GOPers would be seen as being an "establishment cuck" so instead he alienated them and got nothing done.
fricking this.

Exactly what do you think any other Republican president would have gotten done with Dems in control of the House?

Dems didn't have control of the house in 2016. When Trump entered the W.H. he had a strong majority in the house and a slight majority in the senate for his first 2 years.

And we have a record number of border crossings now

Are you saying walls don't work? What are you saying?

You are right that Jughead Joe undid most of the things Trump put in place.

Hence what we have now - failing economy, poor new job growth, low consumer confidence, energy dependence on foreign countries, unchecked illegal immigrantion, weak trade policies and wars and aggression overseas, just to name a few.
