re: What do you think caused these cops to beat this guy to death?

No doubt, these cops went too far, way too far! I believe the deceased could have prevented this himself. He had multiple chances to get himself out of a bad situation, being an a-hole ended up costing him his life.
She shouldn’t have been wearing that skirt either.
Victim blaming is the coolest.

It’s white supremacy, that’s what caused it along with global warming. They are the two biggest threats in America and the world. It’s so bad even black people cant stand each other

I disagree but there could be correlation with how cops are leaving because law makers and public scrutinize them when doing their job and perps don’t cooperate.
They go thru a crap ton of training and it’s not as easy as people think to get hired as a cop. No im not a cop.

I think they had known Tyre before for something.
Way too much violence to take out on just a random hoodlum they see every night.
This seemed personal.
Further, I hope each of these 5 "cops" rot in jail a long long time

It appears premeditated to me. I think we will find out that one of these cops (you can tell which one) had a history with the victim.
If this was the case, you would think that they would be smart enough to plan a better location, without a camera overhead.
If they weren't smart enough to plan better, well that's a big part of the problem.

Wasn’t the original stop a DUI stop and the dude ran and fought back?

I think it was as simple as the perp made several of them pepper spray themselves and out foxed them early on by getting away. He exposed their lack of technique and doughnut level cardio, so they went into ghetto mode with the kicking and haymakers.

This. The police force has turned into the new army enlistment, attracting the lowest common denominator angry dude who lacks direction and wants to carry a gun.

Culturally, I think cops have an attitude that just doesn't sync with the rest of society. Not every single one, but a large %.
I got pulled over, rightfully so, because of a tag issue I had with a truck I had bought. (TLDR - the broker I got the car from bungled the paperwork) I had everything with me, all the info, just needed to get to the tag office and finish things up. He could have very well written me up, but he didn't. I was polite, explained it all, and there was no fuss or attitude.
Until at the very end, he felt the need to chide me about paying taxes, to which I nodded and said 'of course!' in agreement. We had just spent the better part of 10-15 minutes talking about that very thing, and yet it was like a switch went off on him and he felt compelled to click into A-hole mode. It was kinda weird, but thankfully I was in a hurry and needed to wrap things up. "Yes sir, officer, you're 100% right on that! Have a good day!"
I can see things going a different way if I was in a different mood, etc... Ya just never know.

Mindless escalation. You see similar in road rage.
Watch Video 4 HERE. The cops are standing around talking about what happened very candidly after subduing Nichols.
They mention:
- He wouldn’t pull over, drove evasively away, almost hit a cop car, then stopped at intersection “motherfricker put his blinker on.”
- He wouldn’t get out of car
- He resisted, wouldn’t give them his hands, wouldn’t lay flat
- He refused to comply even when threatened with escalating action like pepper spray then tazer
- Cops were inadvertently pepper sprayed at first encounter during struggle
- He ran off from first encounter, somehow outfighting and getting away from 3-4 cops even after being sprayed and tazed
- When caught at second encounter, the cops were pissed and came in hot; radio abuzz with fleeing, resisting, cops sprayed, suspect tazed to no effect, etc
- Struggle for several minutes in attempt to cuff him; sprayed again (OH YOU WANNA GET SPRAYED AGAIN), tazed again, still can’t cuff him and get him on ground even with multiple cops
- More cops inadvertently sprayed during second encounter, anger grows
- GIVE ME YOUR HANDS must have yelled at least 50 times
- Baton comes out, cop yells for him to stop or he’s going to bust him, still can’t get him cuffed and on ground
- Several Baton blows to body and punches to head, he finally goes down and they can cuff his hands
- Cop kicks him several times to head in anger
- Afterwards, during frank discussion, they remark about how strong this “skinny motherfricker” is and they are all convinced “that motherfricker on somethin.’” Several complain about how he made them pepper spray themselves in the melee. One mentions his knee is messed up. A couple mention that he “got his hand on Mark’s gun” and that was it.
Their authority and manhood was challenged and this escalated to a point where they were going to make him submit, consider cost later. Their blood was up. They all act like they’re in the right.
When EMTs call and ask if they need to come on foot or if he can be brought to them (because of all cop cars in road) the cops say “aw frick no tell them to come down here not carryin his arse.”

Up to a certain point yes, but how do you explain sideswapping haymakers thrown from South America on a handcuffed individual?

I don’t know but that was completely fricked up. They’re going to jail and they should.

Your example starts
Your example ends
Guess what, you didn’t run and then struggle. You gotta be an absolute moron with all these incidents to resist. Even if the individual thinks he’s going to jail, it’s not worth the small percentage you end up dead.
