Pure power tripping and blood lust?
Not valuing black lives?
Some verbal or other provocation?
Simply the resistance the guy gave?
Frustration with dealing with disrespectful people that, for another reason, maybe one above, they took out on this guy?

We know what happened with Floyd and Garnett and almost all the rest. This one more looks like pure animosity.

Pack animal mentality. I'm sure there's a burden on officers these days, being targeted by so many, and some just can't process it, so they unleash it on others.

But here... I don't get it. After the Floyd incident, and all that it spun out from that, there's no rationale for them thinking they'd get away with this.

Some seem to think he was banging one of the cops wife or girl friend.

Disagree. Groups of people who are not cops beat people to death all the time, sadly.

It appears premeditated to me. I think we will find out that one of these cops (you can tell which one) had a history with the victim.

Listen to police commands.

Lay face down when being detained if asked.

Allow yourself to be handcuffed.

Don’t fight cops.

Don’t run from cops.

You will have your day in court to tell your side.

No doubt, these cops went too far, way too far! I believe the deceased could have prevented this himself. He had multiple chances to get himself out of a bad situation, being an a-hole ended up costing him his life.

There’s more to this story. Media hyped this up as a Rodney King type beating. It wasn’t. King was much worse he just happened to survive. This guy resisted would not comply and got an undeserved death. Police were rightly terminated and will suffer repercussions. This was in reality just black on black street justice crime. No different than what goes on repeatedly in New York, New Orleans, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles etc on a weekly basis.

Not cooperating. You cant be beat if you don’t run and struggle. The haymakers are unnecessary though.

I almost started a thread saying there is more to the story instead of this one. Has to be more.

Don’t really see how or why that’s relevant, disproves the statement, or still wouldn’t be considered power tripping/bloodlust

I think so. It's ancient animal programming in humans.
We've learned to suppress it, but now and then it bubbles out.

100% lack of standards on hiring, plus lack of adequate or even ANY training.

Now you have to ask WHY were those factors allowed to be present in this department AND how may other LEO's are just as ill prepared for the job in this department and departments across America.

There just has to be. It looked almost if he was specifically targeted.

That was not a typical or normal violent police interaction. There is definitely more to this. Just a bad result all around.
