What benefit does Israel provide the US that can’t otherwise be provided or done in house?

Relationships are give and take. From where I’m sitting, seems like Israel does a whole lot of taking and not much giving.

If Israel had their way I am pretty sure they would've turned Iran into glass by now...so i got nothing

Israel has the Palestinians,Syria, Iran and the other protagonists on the ropes disorganized and weakened.
While the administration is right to disengage from Ukraine, encourage Western Europe to do more for their own defense and fund NATO
the problems In the Middle East just aren't going to go away but the situation is now that the adversaries of democracy and Western civilization in the area might be a little bit more manageable
and if they can be placed physically further away from the Israeli population and made more the responsibility of Jordan and Egypt and the other Muslim countries
and American corporations can make money as Trump makes the deal it's an opportunity that should be deeply explored

They run all of our banking systems and run all of our media. The fact that they profit every step of the way should be pondered when deciding how much welfare they get annually. Maybe they could stop using us as a piggy bank and use Only Fans?

Israel is an ally. I believe that support has been there since it's creation in 47-48.
I think in latter years the US, because of it's support, has been able to keep escalations to a minimum. Meaning, if Israel wanted, it could lay waste to the Palestinians.
I think in large part, people of sound mind, also know that Palestinians have rejected anyting related to Israel simply because they see them as infidels worthy of only beheading. Our US leaders that support Israel know that deep down, the Palestinains would levy the same fate on us if given the chance.
To Muslims, it's either conversion or death.

Well, they are a clearinghouse for all the people who want to bitch about foreign aid while simultaneously ignoring the massive amounts of taxpayer dollars going to countries that are truly our enemies.
