Like it or not, The Holy Land protections is embedded in our Western values.
No other international piece of land is as important. Get it to be a peaceful area for Christiandom and Christians to make their journey there isn't something new to American wants. "to the shores of Tripoli" isn't a part of our history just protecting trade routes, but also protecting early Americans heading to The Holy Land for their pilgrimages.

And Americans were making pilgrimages to The Holy Land asking for blessings before that too. It's about the significance of the land, not Jewish Israelis.
There can be plenty of discussion on how to get it to benifit us better, but protecting the land is needed. How to make sure the Israeli govt are better stewards is important to have. I'll agree there, but theres a lot of anti-Jew reasoning on why we need to stay out. And dismissing the importance of protecting the land for what it is. The most important piece of land in the world to our foundational moral values.
Heck, for all I care let's turn it into the sole world's equivalent of a protected "national park". Having a base in the area that we don't have to ask permission from the locals to be there would be nice too.

Why should Egypt and Jordan go along with Trump’s inane proposal. Jordan , especially, has done a lot for America over the years. They have assisted with intelligence and been a stabilizing force against radical have been a stabilizing force angainst radical Islam and terrorism.

Turkey is an emerging threat to other interests ,, if America is seen as a limiting factor on Isreal.. that another reason for US ME interests to cooperate

I won't go into the entire religious diatribe about why the Jews killed Jesus but I will expound upon the racial composition of "Israel" today.
What you need to understand is that the "Babylonian Exile" is not nearly as profound as Biblical texts explain. Most archaeologists agree the captive Judeans numbered maybe a few hundred. The rest of the citizens of Judah remained.
So if they never LEFT.... where are they NOW?
Well they eventually were all conquered and forcibly converted to Islam during Muhamed's military campaigns in the region.
Don't you find it odd that the "Jews" who inhabit Israel today are light skinned practically caucasian appearing humans? If they had ancestry and geneological ties to the region which is practically a desert.... don't you think they would look like other people native to the region.... such as Palestinians?
The Palestinians of today are the offspring of the original inhabitants of the region. That's how people from that region look.
Jews of today are LARPing as God's Chosen People. The Romans conquered Khazaria and forced them to give up their pagan religion or else be put to death.
They chose Judaism.
And used the stories to foster a sense of racial identity and under the incorrect delusion that they are God's Chosen People.
I won't even get into that but Jesus came to Earth to dispel the entire notion of "God's Chosen People".
Heaven isn't for a specific race, it is for all mankind to enter if they act according to God's will. That is why Jesus was put to death and that is why Jews loathe Christians to this day. The mere EXISTENCE of Jesus reminds them that their claim of being God's chosen and that all other races are cattle put on earth by God and disguised as humans as not to disgust them to serve them --- all is completely refuted.

Jesus was adressing Jews in that context, but was also referencing anyone that did not believe Jesus Christ was in fact The Messiah and GOD in flesh.
