There were strikes on Islamic Jihad in Gaza a few days ago in response to attack plans being uncovered. There have been continued strikes on Hezbollah along the border with Lebanon. The more radical elements of Hamas have been violently running the streets. Islamic Jihad has quietly grown a bit of control and is gaining more support in the Westbank. Jewish settlers continue attacks on West Bank farmers.

This has been a very warish "peace" thus far.

Trying to broker a peace deal is wasting time?

Maybe it was never about the deal, but about setting clear conditions for both sides to show who the true aggressor is.

Pull our military support and tell them all good luck and that we are no longer involved.

Same goes for Ukraine.

Lindsay Graham approved
"I completely agree with the King of Jordan’s analysis regarding what it takes to stabilize the Gaza strip. To expect an international force to go to war with Hamas to require their disarmament is unrealistic. To expect Hamas to disarm without the threat of confrontation is unrealistic.

Therefore, it is my growing belief that Hamas is not going to disarm but instead is in the process of consolidating power in Gaza by attacking those who would oppose them.

Under the current approach, every day that goes by allows Hamas to get stronger and more lethal. The world needs to understand that Israel cannot tolerate this outcome. If Israel feels it needs to reengage in Gaza to finish Hamas off, they have my full support.

And what’s going on in Tonga and Palau and Tanzania today? I care equally. All adds up to zero fuqs. So tired of the money and media coverage devoted to this. Let ‘em have at it.

Some of us have been saying this since the "20 point plan" was first floated.

You're relying on a pinky promise from a terrorist group whose stated mission is the complete annihilation of its sworn enemy. That terrorist group isn't required to leave the area and the UN isn't required to cut ties with it or even officially recognize it as a terrorist organization. It was a fricking pipe dream from the beginning. Now, Israel has released a couple thousand more terrorists onto the field.

That's not even to mention the other players in the game.

hot take but I think we need to give up on the whole “disarm Hamas” thing. it’s unrealistic- no matter how much you bomb them, there will be new recruits. it will be another forever war. didn’t we learn our lesson with the Taliban in Afghanistan?

As long as Israel has a strong, secure border and the support of the Arab region, who cares what goes on in the Gaza Strip? The chance of another Oct 7th happening are virtually zero.

They absolutely do. Podcast propaganda has taken root in a lot of smooth brains who claim to be in the right but are now in lock step with the far left.

Because he wanted his cult to believe his was creating a historic event.
And we wanted to further distract us from the non existing list that he promised to release.

At this point you just let them fight.

People tend to forget they took American citizens hostage too. So we technically should have been involved.
