re: We are not "back" until I can watch a football game without filth

I don't care WTF adults do in the privacy of their own bedroom…
This mindset is what led us to where we are. Turns out that what people do in their bedrooms ultimately does have an impact on things that happen outside of their bedroom. The disastrous opinion in Lawrence v. Texas is what put us here, and the entire logic of that decision was “what people do in their own bedrooms is nobody else’s business.”
And it also turns out that if you give gay people an inch they will shove it in an orifice and then take a mile.

Gay and black disease for the most part

The latter directly related to the former.
A great untalked about thing in modern America is just how prevalent the "down low" is. I'm honestly kind of impressed how somehow, this has managed to avoid being exposed in popular culture.

LLWS is gayer than the gay commercial.

Goes to commercial break, two gay dudes lying in bed together cuddling and chatting, commercial is for HIV medication.
I am going to remove my emotions so I don’t get banned. I am simply going to logically address the agenda of the commercial.
There is absolutely no reason to market this medication to increase sales and drive profits.
The individuals needing the drug are already aware of its availability, pricing, and insurance coverage.
The only other logical explanation is to make the viewers feel uncomfortable and to eventually normalize and desensitize everyone to the depicted behavior.
As a secondary agenda point, knowing children and families are watching, the makers of this production want to chip away at the innocence of young viewers.

How is having gay men on talking about hiv putting it on a pedestal? Is the purpose of advertising not to shove their message in your face? Isn't that true of all ads? I see ads for stuff I don't want or need all the time it doesn't offend me. Quit being a snowflake

A bit off subject here but it's become clear to me that a great deal of advertising has nothing to do with marketing anymore. It's about control. As in, I spend a shite ton in ad dollars which keep your network, media outlet, magazine, etc afloat, therefore, if I tell you to shut the frick up about something, you shut the frick up about it and if I tell you to talk about something, you talk about it.

True... but when your kid sees an Ozempic ad, he/she says "So, that helps that fat person not be fat?"/
When they see a Descovy commercial, they say "So, what's that for".
That's not a discussion I should have to have during a football game... or really at any other time when watching TV. It just isn't. That's not being a snowflake. That's being a good parent.

Use it as a teaching moment. "You see, kids. When you suck dicks and take it in the arse, you get AIDS and die. AIDS is the Black Plague of the new millennium. It was brought to you by these dick sucking queers. DO NOT turn into an AIDS carrying fig. DO NOT accept it as a normal lifestyle. DO NOT celebrate them as if they are special."

Agreed. Gay people have proven they are incapable of living quietly in the background even when left alone. Degeneracy is all about envelope pushing. The slippery slope argument everyone warned about cane true faster than you can blink.
These evil pushing corporations need to be held accountable for pushing this agenda.

As middle America as it gets & they choose this game to buy ad time & promote their drugs.
That’s not prudent targeting of a market audience, it’s raw & overt propaganda. This has less to do with generating revenue and more to do with altering public opinion.

I thought they were going to stop airing all pharmaceutical ads?
Posted on 8/23/25 at 9:45 pm to StansberryRules
Well you still watch so STFU until you stand for your beliefs. Until you turn it off, you enable it.

Not yet, but I could see it happening. I gave up the NFL completely back when all that crap started. It's all just a damn shame.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Is there something inappropriate you have to explain the in the commerical? Is it any less appropriate than Cialis or Viagra commercials that air?

Bro….Im sure the data showed that the Aggies would be tuned in with fairly high numbers

Yeah, the source for this is a few Tik Toks. Give me something more substantive, as that number by itself beggars belief.

Stop
Watching
You knew everything you ranted about before you tuned in.
Why did you?
