Yes, sorry man that is weak.

It would have been mor impressive for a man his age to do 10 reps of 225.

135 is literally a child's weight

According to strength level.com:

10 reps of 225 gives you a max of 300 lbs

44 reps of 135 gives a max of 333 lbs

That's pretty dang strong either way. Now, Pete's not doing a full rep, but what soldier's going to call him out?

A lot of NFL players in the combine max out at around that or a few reps more..

NFL players do 225 and 99% don't do over 40 reps.

NFL players are absolute badasses if they do 60ish reps

They would be God-like...as I think the record is 49 or 50

Many anonymous message board enthusiasts are not only known for possessing expert opinions on any variety of topics but can also generally run 40-yard sprints in under in 4.2 seconds and easily bench 335 for 50 reps.

What about the anon who ran the 40 in 4.41 seconds while carrying 335 lbs? I have not heard from him since here. Have you?

For a fit 20 year old, it’s pretty easy

It’s the equivalent of around a 320lb 1 rep max. Less than .5% of the population and less than 2% of people who regularly lift can bench 315lbs

Try doing 44 reps with that much weight. You must be a fat slob who has never lifted other than to shovel heaps of food down your trap.
