44 Reps of 135# is impressive….for a man his age.
For a fit 20 year old, it’s pretty easy.

Many anonymous message board enthusiasts are not only known for possessing expert opinions on any variety of topics but can also generally run 40-yard sprints in under in 4.2 seconds and easily bench 335 for 50 reps.

It's laughable
Not for 44 reps it isn't. A lot of NFL players in the combine max out at around that or a few reps more. NFL players are absolute badasses if they do 60ish reps.

Not really. 44 reps is pretty damn good for anyone, aside from maybe a body builder or strongman.

NFL players are doing 225 not 135
Those are shite reps too

That is impressive, especially for an older guy. However, his form is truly terrible and I think it is realistically more like 20 if done correctly.

Yes, sorry man that is weak.
It would have been mor impressive for a man his age to do 10 reps of 225.
135 is literally a child's weight

You youngsters say what you want. I'm in my lower 50's and bench that weight twice a week. I just focus on reps and form. I'm past the days of attempting to bench 200 lbs.
I'm not sure if I could do that or not. I don't just try and throw up the weight.
