Very clear distinction there.
Those reporters were prohibited because there was a clearing of the access rosters and streamlining of how many reporters from each outlet were allowed access.
They didn’t ban their newspapers outright. That’s what happened here.

These networks provide the audio and video feeds used by most of the industry. so, DJT is going offline effectively. It'll be interesting to see how the admin reacts to no coverage at events, especially this close to the midterms.

That’s viewpoint discrimination. The First Amendment’s core rule is that the state may not punish speech because of its message. Trump’s stated reason, “negative stories” and “I don’t have to let them into the people’s house,” is almost a textbook admission of that.
The AP case from last year is still working its way to trial, but the DC Circuit did allow Trmp's "ban" on the AP to continue due to likelihood of Trump winning. it stated"
