Obviously I want Rs to maintain the majority, but not because I think they will do anything with it, but simply because I don't want Dems to have any power at all.

But the Republican legislature has not done squat for the past year. And now we are in this war and it's hard to make a pitch for why we are better.
The democrats are tuning their demographic over now. The republicans need to do it soon.

This was the second chance and yall blew it.
Thats what upsets most about Trump more than anything. We engaged in a decade long cultural war to get them in office and both times they squandered it. Republicans in congress too.

Even if the GOP maintains control they have shown they won't do anything. If the DNC wins, Trump can veto any silly bills that pass, and there will just be more gridlock.
There's an argument to make losing the midterms sets up 2028 better for the GOP then maintaining Congress and not doing anything for 2 years.
