That argument is idiotic and shortsighted, most Americans won’t see it as gridlock and will blame the President pretty much guaranteeing a Democrat for President. If that happens, the country will likely be lost forever and it isn’t hyperbole. The Left has told you what they would do with power and the courts will do nothing. A lot of stupidity in the air right now

That sounds like they screwed up the first years but will get it right if you "give us another chance" . Not sure that's the approach I would take.

I mean you aren't wrong, the GOP is in a bad spot going into 2028, which is crazy because 2024 was the strongest they have been in my lifetime. They need some long term thinking party leadership, which is lacking. The GOP is the dog that caught the squirrel and have no clue what to do with it now.
