I'm not really keeping up with this much - but that's not an affidavit, redacted or otherwise. It's just a redacted brief about the redactions needed for the affidavit (so arguably it's worse

That’s not the affidavit. That’s the government’s legal pleading to keep the information redacted. The affidavit itself is quoted but this is a different document.

If I had to show my work in school to get credit for providing the correct answer, they should have to provide this affidavit without redaction in order to continue weaponizing it.

All that document does is lay out the reasons why the search warrant needs to remain sealed, and redacts all of the reasons. A completely worthless release.

The info I really want to see is redacted. This release doesn’t do much to move the needle. I thought the letter from Trump’s counsel attached to the affidavit was well presented. Absent a showing of Trump’s failure to cooperate, the raid continues to have the appearance of one primarily based on politics and not national security. I’ll continue to reserve final judgment though.

Someone linked the actual affidavit in the thread I started. It's thirty some odd pages, with multiple basically whole pages of redactions.
