To show I'm not picking only on Louisiana:

At least Terrebone Parish knows what it is dealing with.

The funny thing is a bunch of people on this board had to move to Texas because they couldn’t find a job in Louisiana

FWIW, my water looked like that for about three weeks. Come to find out it was the aerator attachment at the end of the faucet. Went and bought a different one and my cloudy water disappeared.

The one thing I learned in college, clean local water means as much to quality of life as anything else.

The good thing about that is we still live in a free country where people are allowed to live where they choose and not just simply where they are born.

If you don't like brown water then you are a racist.

The water in Greenville, MS is brown and is actually famous for it. They sell it bottled up

It has something to do with the minerals in it but is completely harmless to drink

Too much air in the water by the looks of the pick. It happened here at work.

If he lets it sit and it clears up wih nothing settling out, it’s just air and there is nothing to worry about

In my case with the aerator, the one that was causing my bubbly water was a new one. It was a 1.5 gpm flow kind mandated by the EPA. Get home, put it on and all kind of air seems to come out with the water. Never heard that before. About three weeks of that crap was driving me nuts. I dig around in my garage junk pile and find an old aerator that was probably at least a 2 or 2.5. Changed them out and the problem was cured.

That is air bubbles in the water. Dude probably just hooked up a new filter and wants some attention.

I chose to move to Texas because they actually have a functioning government and a thriving economy that has more to it than oil and tourism. I love my homestate of Louisiana, but I cannot acheive my entrepreneurial goals there, nor do I desire to raise a family in a state that doesn’t value education.

Sure, use utilities, one of the most heavily regulated areas of the economy, to take a swipe at libertarians/deregulation. Makes perfect sense
