Complaining that tv shows are no longer 100% white is a very strange hill to want to die on and equating adding one Hispanic dude to the cast of show set in a very diverse city is dumbing America down is telling on yourself. Anyhow, here's a list of great shows with all-white main casts for you to enjoy at the next Konklave.

frick you

You are not so fricking stupid that you do not understand what is being discussed.

Friends was terribly unfunny, so I think it'd make it no problem

The entire cast of Seinfeld, including most guest stars, was Jewish.

I'm jewish.

I was born in Israel.

For all intents and purposes I am 100% white in this country. I would never claim i was a minority

I'm surprised they are even still airing reruns since both are full of gay jokes and racial stereotypes

The thing is, these "gay jokes and racial stereotypes" aren't really mean. They don't really make fun of gay people or races, but they use stereotypes to put the characters in precarious situations. Such as the Cigar Store Indian. Jerry tries his best not to offend a Native American girl he's interested in (avoiding using the word "reservations" when talking about a restaurant), yet things outside his control keep making it awkward, such as Kramer in the cab with the cigar store indian.

Another episode that comes to mind is when George's boss (who's black) thinks he is racist because George made some comment that he looked like Sugar Ray Leonard ("all black people look alike"). He wants to show him that he's not racist, so he gets the idea that he will introduce him to one of his black friends. The only problem he is that he has none, so he brings along Jerry's black exterminator to dinner and pretends they are old buddies.

I'm dying laughing as I watch these scenarios unfold, but I'm also saddened about how much comedy is being restrained today. There's nothing mean spirited about these episodes. People need to stop being so obsessed with being PC.

You couldn't even make The Office today.

Monica & Rachel would probably be in a lesbian "marriage" now.

One of them would have had to be a butch looking, 250 lb. man-beast, with a shaved head. And, if you are girl and you didn't get your head shaved (like they did with Jennifer Anniston) then you can count on yourself being cancelled and rejected by every major college in America.

IMO, Friends was a better show than Seinfeld. I watched and loved them both but I really miss watching friends. The show that definitely couldn’t air today and I’m sure won’t be in syndication anymore is “All in the family”. The racist crowds would be screaming at the top of their lungs if that show came back or was still being syndicated today.

I respect your opinion, but it is shitty

Friends was objectively unfunny, and I knew it when I was 12 when it was popular. Confirmed now when my wife finds it on and watches. Chandler was the only character even approaching funny, and he was amusing at best.

It paved the way for better shows, so I respect it, but it was not a good show in and of itself.

I saw a recent interview with Oliver Stone, a huge liberal, and when he was asked if many of the great films in cinema history could be made under today's rules for cast diversity and political messaging, he said no.

What's really scary, besides the decline in the quality of motion pictures due to the insane political beliefs of the left, is the soon to come censorship and editing of the films and shows of the past. Many have posted about the cigar store indian episode of Seinfeld. That will not be available for streaming one day soon, and you'll have to find an old dvd or a pirated youtube video to watch it.

Even making the inference or mere suggestion that Friends was better than Seinfeld should result in a re-education camp.

Yes. In fact, the word “stereotype” derives from a French amalgamation of the Greek terms yada, yada, yada.

This. An American treasure (who cares about the British version, the American version transcended the original) like the Office would NEVER have been allowed. Seriously everyone go back and watch Season 1 Espisode 2: Diversity Day. Despite that episode being a classic that was universally loved, if it were today that show would have been canceled so fast.

It's like they don't even remember why Ross got his first divorce or the wedding of his ex wife.

Yes, because Hollywood is the home of the friendly racists. They say all the right things, post all the right memes and throw the minorities a bone or two. All while making sure the minorities stay in their place(and vote the right way).
