Rittenhouse applauds BLM and destroyed his own AR. Glad the self defense precedent was solidified but he can gfh

This proves my point. The Dems are sick for elevating him to the status they did. We don't need to do the same.
Let me know when the rittenhouse statues start getting erected.

I'd personally take the Sandman approach. Sue the pants off the big corporate media outlets but otherwise disappear into the background.

Yeah it's gotten out of hand. If he stuck around and became a gun advocate I'd have no issues, but people are going nuts over him.

At the TPUSA event yesterday they had him come out onto the stage and it looked like a WWE entrance. People were standing up cheering and had their phones out recording as if they were about to see Trump walk out.
I supported the kid through the trial, and hope he wins a ton of money from Lin Wood and whoever else he goes after. I might even keep sharing some funny memes about him over time but that's where it ends for me.
People elevating him to something more are cult-like and weird IMO
its fricking weird. he isnt even conservative. glad he won for case presidence and he deserved to win but lets not try and act like he was some innocent bystander in his front yard or some role model.

Government will NOT stand against the Rioters; they allow the pillaging and burning of Cities. And we know that this will continue to move outward to the Burbs.
So, the only alternative to total anarchy, rest upon private citizens standing up to protect their own community. Every good citizen is realizing this, but few to none have taken it upon themselves this action. For obvious reasons (job, family, prosecution/persecution, cancelled, etc.)
Kyle Rittenhouse had none of the above reservations; he was extraordinary civic-minded, and was naive' in effect. He acted as THE FIRST to do what we know will be inevitable. He well DESERVES his "rock star" status, as he has become the symbol of private citizens ('vigilantes', from the Left's perspective) standing up when Government fails to.
Further, his persona (innocence, sincerity and communication eloquence) supports his cause. I hope he has a personal security mechanism that is as efficient as his ability to motivate people who share his civic duty principles. The Leftist nuts won't let this fly. It's like Covid; it will spread.

Agree, but then you have marxist democrats making martyrs and lionizing criminal pieces of shite like George Floyd, so it's whatever guess. Let me know when cities start erecting statues of KR. Until then, rubbing their nose in KR is just fine with me.

Dude is lucky beyond belief that the stars aligned in his favor on this.
He's lucky he was politically prosecuted? The facts of his case were so clear there was no possible other outcome than him being found not guilty. He was extremely unlucky charges were even brought against him in the first place.

An innocent bystander is precisely what he was, until people started trying to kill him.
And as far as using an AR to defend yourself, KR is absolutely a role model. The people in the military that we pay to know how to handle and use an AR could not have done any better than this kid did. I would bet my next paycheck that 80% of standard infantry, and probably 50% of Navy Seals would be either dead, or would have killed at least one innocent bystander in the same situation.

you need to calm down. I never said he was lucky he was politically prosecuted. I said he was lucky he was acquitted. In other words, the machine went after him and lost. He is lucky for that. The president, the media, the left threw everything they had at him and he still prevailed. I also said he was rightfully acquitted.
Do you understand?

I agree. Look how you've triggered one of the resident leftist into a downvote by pointing it out.

People have different personalities. If I won the lottery I would lay low and be as inconspicuous as possible.

innocent bystander doesnt go to begin with. Was he provoked and was his use of force justified? absolutely. no problem with him being there and doing what he did but he put himself in the middle of a riot, that isnt innocent bystander imo.

His court case was critically important.
He is not a hero. He was foolish to bring his rifle out there, but I do admire the chutzpah b/c none of US are busy tending to our cities as they burn.
Agreed. We should stop elevating kids and putting them on tv. They're human like the rest of us. It's a weird phase of the new political world we're in.

He needs to turn down the chance to be a celebrity.
