Also: Indiana would beat Georgia by 3 scores.
Lol, so Penn State and Iowa are better than Georgia?
Alabama destroyed Wisconsin, a team Indiana was in a dogfight with until the 3rd Quarter.
Indiana has played nobody outside of Ohio State and Oregon who themselves have played no one. They are the equivalent of Vandy.
Bama rolls 38-21. Brown with a pick 6.

Change just these six moments over 17 years and the Alabama dynasty is non-existent.
Now do Wallace Wade and Bryant. Alabama has more Rose Bowl appearances than Indiana.

Was Colt going to play defense and stop Ingram and Richardson?
They both ran for over 100.

I don't know why people get so upset that a communist was head of the U.S. IC.
We had some guy fantasizing about Bama running the I-formation. Well, they did late in the game Friday night and I don’t think they netted a yard out of all the plays combined.

think those 10-11 days off really helped Ty re-center himself and improve what was ailing him. He was also attempting throws that I had not seen him try in quite a long while.
While he did pretty good there were still areas where he made similar mistakes.
The second down play in the OU redzone where he got caught staring and waiting for Germie to get open was similar to how he stared down and then overthrew Germie on the 4th down play against Georgia.
In both, he had open check down routes, but he never looked at them. He had Hill for a 1st down against Georgia and he had Cuevas wide open for a first down or even a TD the other night.
With that said, he did have some outstanding plays which reminded me of Ty midseason. The TD throw to Brook from the 30-yard line was great. The throw to Horton in the 3rd Q, The throw to Horton right after the muffed punt in the second Q. The scramble and 1st down run to set up the FG in the third quarter.
And the most important stat of all. No turnover. No sack fumbles and no ints. That's huge against a "ballhawk" defense which makes a living from forcing TO's.

But I still don't know why they couldn't have just switched opponents with A&M so we wouldn't have had a rematch in the first round.
I hate if for you guys that OU got Bama in a rematch. It's hard to beat a good team twice in a season. See Alabama vs Georgia this season and in 2021.

Most of the SEC has no room to talk here
I've always thought this was an ignorant thought process. With the exception of metropolitan areas, all states are pretty much "fly over". I saw just as many trashy houses and trailer parks just outside of Philadelphia as I've seen in Brompton Alabama.

We'll see.
Alabama SOS 6
Indiana SOS 28
We have one common opponent if this means anything at all.
Indiana 31 Wisconsin 7. Indiana led 10-7 at HT.
Alabama 38 Wisconsin 14. Alabama led 21-0 at HT

Wasn't Dear a 5 star?
Dear was a 4-star, number 2 RB and number 91 overall player. So yeah, supposed to be pretty good. I would like to look at 10 years of 4 and 5 stars too see how their careers ended up. I would separate it also by top 100 and top 50 players.
I would like to see if top 50 or top 100 players do better overall than general 4 or 5 stars.
I would expect top 50 would do better than top 100 and so on...

Gmac was talking about this today and said that a lot of the trouble is that Ty is making the wrong read as to who the "hot" is based on the coverage. If a safety is pulled down to cover the top of the receiver where the blitzer has vacated, you don't throw it there... look for the other side. He is very complimentary of Ty, but he did hang some of this on him
What? GMAC is a troll and a hater. Ty is perfect and never makes mistakes.
Ty was rattled so much early in the game Friday until his anti-anxiety meds kicked in. He missed some key throws. On the one sack, he failed to set his protection correctly presnap which resulted in him getting nailed for a sack.
Another time, he stood staring at Germie holding the ball and got sacked. If he moves his eyes he has Cuevas wide open directly in front of him for an easy throw and TD.
On the throw that Williams dropped, he had Germie wide open for a TD on the other side of the field. Some of his throws, that were "drops" were not great and required the receiver to make a good or great catch.
I will give Ty credit, he made some good throws in the game and if he wouldn't have settled down, Bama would have lost.

I could be wrong, but this Indiana team is giving me 2012 ND vibes.
I don't agree. They are much more talented than that squad. I can also assert this Bama squad is nowhere in the ballpark of the 2012 Bama squad.

This thread is full of Georgia fans and LSU fans dickriding Georgia. Georgia fans have been lulled into thinking they are better than they are based on the SECCG.

I mean, it’s true. That was the all-time giveaway game. Punter dropping the ball like he had money on Bama, then the QB hitting a stationary Bama defender right in the numbers for a pick 6.
Another “objective” hot take from Dr. Dumbass.
Alabama outscores Oklahoma 34-7 after falling behind 17-0. Surely in that span of time, Oklahoma could have seized momentum back. If they were indeed the better team.

I agree but Ty is a highly emotional guy. It shows up in his play. Number 12 is the total opposite of Ty. No wide eyed looks, no goofy hopping up and down, no going crazy after a TD, and probably no goofy post game comments.

Not totally. Our defense still has issues. Busting coverages over and over. And number 3 is total arse.
