Since we got the ceremony tickers, we prepaid thousands of dollars for hotel rooms (Marriott Marquis-using points and Conrad Washington). We are lucky not to buy the parade stands, which could cost $2000 per person. The tickers are souvenirs now.
Glad I didn't book JW Marriott, which is $2500 per night for at least a 3-night package.

Well, this sucks!! On my way to Charlotte to fly up. Screw it. My wife and son are already there so I’m going. Maybe our daughter can get us into the Capital One Center with our passes and if so, maybe Trump will come over to acknowledge the crowd.
