The military can start with the police departments and sheriff's office. Any officer that has violated the Constitution gets taken out back and hanged.

Oh no the proverbial, they might do it to us.

They tried to kill us with covid over a friggin election. They tried to jail, impeach, and kill the president twice.

But oh man, to ensure some liberal city does not burn itself down and then expect federal dollars to rebuild it, oh my oh no, lions, tigers and bears.

Assume 'the steal' happens in 2028, Gavin Newsom wins the election. Now also consider that the federal government rarely exercises itself of authority already assumed; are you comfortable that Gavin Newsom now has law enforcement powers, even above those available to previous democratic presidents like Biden and Obama?

Point me to the law where they had the right to infect the entire world with a virus and kill millions???? I missed that, was it the Patriot Act that bogey man of a law.

Speaking of, did the Patriot Act give them the right to spy on individuals BEFORE they had a FISA warrant? To write up a phony dossier? To jail citizens with no due process?

Where states and cities are openly defying the law, the federal govt needs to intervene to ensure a more perfect union. Ask Little Rock Arkansas in 1957.....

to my enemies, the law.

This is differen[T].

I don't really get "Back the Blue!!!" more than the "all pigs suck" group. Cops are people, some of them suck, some of them don't, most of them will be negatively influenced by their power and lack of accountability. You just hope it's to a small degree.

Here's what Grok said about it

### Conclusion
Trump is actively planning to deploy the U.S. military for domestic law enforcement, primarily for mass deportations and border security, with potential applications to suppress protests or address crime. His administration is leveraging the Insurrection Act, AEA, and other authorities to justify these actions, building on first-term efforts but with a broader scope. While supporters view this as necessary for national security, critics warn of civil liberties violations, military politicization, and unprecedented overreach. Legal challenges and military resistance may temper implementation, but the plans signal a significant shift in the military’s domestic role, with profound implications for U.S. democracy and civil rights.

Correct

In the big scheme, cops are more heavily negatively influenced and abusive of things like our rights and the law because so many people have made it a point to ensure a lack of accountability.

That's why though Trump prosecutions and January 6th prosecutions were such a good learning moment for the back the blue crowd of MAGA, especially the one saying if you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about. However, clearly, the larger point and fixing the issues of the system we're ignored and favor of NPC partisan talking points instead.

No, and that's deliberate.

I'm not anti-cop, I just no longer automatically give them the benefit of the doubt. I think most of them will treat you fairly as long as your interests don't conflict with theirs, but once they do look out. You'd better hope you're dealing with the skinny end of the bell curve.

It opens to precedent door for himself or future admins to do worse, possibly apply to "home grown" terror organizations like moms who question school boards, etc. It's bad policy and I hope it gets canned by the courts.

I'm too lazy to read through this thread, but I assume you're killing the Back the Blue contingent.
