Pivoting again!
Earlier, MAGA wanted to crush China.
Now, the cult is cool with getting back to friendly trade.
Which won't bring manufacturing back. Nor pharmaceutical production. Or rare metal mining.
Pivot again!!
If you read any of my posts i said trump flinched...i would have liked to stick with this longer and inflict more pain but if we're backing off lets make this the most positive outcome

So, do we want to break China or make a deal with them?
Even in a real, actual war, we want to break the other side, and eventually come to terms with them
No different in a trade war
You are becoming a caricature of your former self

I believe that both sides want to make a deal but right now it's about saving face. I hopeful that because this escalated quickly it will get resolved quickly cause right now it's not good for either side.

r, now hear me out. Maybe, we just want is what's best for America, and understand these are negotiations, and all things can be true at once.
I think this is fine, the problem is when you spend time convincing the country that it's absolutely mission critical for the future of the United States to completely remake our economy and how we conduct trade...
...and then you negotiate to a very modest improvement of those things and call it a win.

is an improvement not a win?
Who knows how “modest” the improvement will be. With Doge cuts, big bill, & new trade agreements who knows what our potential can be
