I agree with this. Traditional debates have jumped the shark. Candidates don’t have time to give nuanced answers. We just get the same questions and answers we’ve already heard a thousand times. Half the time we’re just watching the moderator grandstand.

You’re hitting at the real problem.

It’s that the moderator is in service to an agenda that does not include informing the public of the candidates’ positions.

I like how the narrative is no one watches CNN or MSNBC but the narrative is also that they have massive brain washing abilities over the general population.

The base audience for CNN and MSNBC are already brainwashed. They just go there for validation. It’s the gaslighting across all of media and academia for decades that have led them there.
