It may not be going perfectly, but it isn't a debacle. A debacle would entail us leaving in such a rush, we left millions and millions in equipment, would have people so desperate to leave that they attempt to hold onto planes as they launch and at least 13 soldiers would get killed in the chaos of it all.

Now that is a debacle.

I think a debacle is citing a failed trump peace agreement with the fricking taliban to minimize his multiple failed ones in iran.

Trump, not Fauci, was the economist-in-chief. Trump owned the economy, but being the arrogant SOB he is he'll always attribute blame to anyone but his self.

Trump, correctly, left the decision making to the Governors of each state. Most of them followed Fauci in lock step. As did you.

You can shite all over Biden if you want, but most of the damage came about before he was in office and a private citizen. Governors and mayors did this. Hell, Trump did it as well. He doesn't say shite until over a month into it and even then he tells governors who want to open up to hold up for a little while.

Remember this was in 2020. Biden does not even come into office until January 20, 2921. By then the vaccines are out and by March of that year things were largely back to a semblance of normal.

I was NO fan of the lockdowns and closures and thought it a huge mistake and detested Fauci Birx and their lot, but let's not rewrite history on order to create a narrative that absolves key players like governors both Republican and Democrat.

Did you sleep through the whole presidential campaign that year, where basically the entire Democrat platform was that the current administration had not done enough and was not draconian ENOUGH with regard to the COVID bullshite?

You seem to have an issue with relevancy…bubba. The OP is specifically about Fauci. Go beat your straw man elsewhere.

Who was in control in 2020? Congress had no control in an emergency like that. States did and you know that counselor. States call for and enforce quarantine because they control the local law enforcement. Biden could say whatever he wanted up until January 20, 2021 and it would not mean shite. At worst Biden in 2021 controlled Federal office buildings and the military and how they would conduct their day to day affairs. They had NO control over the schools and other things not directly under their purview. Biden did not control the OMV or hospitals or local health departments.

In fact, in terms of the lockdown In New Orleans people like Latoya,JBE and other officials made those calls because they could dispatch cops and health inspectors to close public places down. Fauci had no real power,Trump had no real power and Biden did not either in the states. You should read the law, and brush up on how federalism works. Same in Texas,North Carolina, New York, Ohio, etc.

Stick to the tax code

That’s my exact point. Trump left it to the states. Where is your confusion coming from?

You’re the only person talking about Biden.

The Scamdemic was designed specifically for this exact reason.

And it should be no surprise that a bunch of journalists have been found to be on the CCP payroll.

Trump said Kemp was opening Georgia “too early”
He wanted it shutdown longer. Trump also let midget Fauci get in front of a microphone for months on end spewing his verbal nonsense.
The failures of 2020 lie with Trump and Trump alone. He’s The President not “the governors”.

Also amazed that there was no international backlash over Covid.

Almost every country in the fell in line lock-step with America's bullshite.

The greatest exercise of groupthink the world has ever seen.

The OP blames Fauci for wrecking the economy and costing Trump the presidency. That makes Trump’s own economic decisions directly relevant, whether they’re convenient for you or not. Calling it a strawman doesn’t make it one bubba, all it does is tell me “relevancy” was the biggest word you could find before the argument outran you, noodle arms.

.Not according to Trump. LINK

quote:

- President Donald Trump denied that he and Vice President Mike Pence gave Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp approval to reopen certain businesses in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.
- The president appeared to be responding to the Associated Press' report that he and Pence repeatedly gave Kemp a green light to allow businesses to reopen as early as this week.
- Kemp unveiled his new reopening policy Monday. Two days later, Trump said he "totally disagrees" with the plan, adding that it violated the federal reopening guidelines released by the White House last week.
Ironically this was reported
one day after the alleged conversation in the OP. Was Trump lying in private or public?
