As for the OP, Trump was POTUS. He deserves some blame here for sticking with this. It was his VP that had the "14 days" bullshite that ended up being 14 months. He's not blameless.

The effing CDC had imploded, perhaps not accidentally. The NIH was the natural fallback. The entire West (sans Sweden) chose the same path as Fauci recommended. Had Trump ignored Fauci, every single death in the country would have been attributed to him on a nightly basis.

Didn't he start calling BS early on? Biden took over and he completely doubled down. I remember when he was trying to destroy businesses even further by pushing for all company's to be forced to only have vaccinated workers if they had over 100 employees.
