It's important to also note that Trump still proclaims Operation Warp Speed as a great achievement.

I have not ever felt being called a racist was critical. I have always felt that word is used to divide and control. I simply say, when called a racist, "thank you" and go about my day.

I edited my post to be more clear. I thought Biden played a role in shutting down small stuff and leaving stuff like Walmart open as if that made any sense. If it was all up to govenors, surely Biden still had a hand in those awful decisions. It was far more prevalent in liberal places and far less is rural conservative areas. Florida panhandle hardly gave a damn outside medical facilities and temp scans at work.

Agreed. Printing $8 trillion in a single year was assisted-suicide for the global economy and every person on earth and subsequent generations will pay for the worst decision of all of humanity.

The wildest part of Covid was the complete disregard of the Nuremberg Code as the foundation for medical ethics.

I don’t blame Trump here. Obviously with what we know now and with the benefit of hindsight it was a bad call. At the time, we were facing a one in 100 year pandemic that the experts were warning could kill millions. He trusted the only people who had any expertise in these matters. Who else could he trust? No one knew Fauci was lying to save his own arse from culpability in starting it in the first place. Trump made a bad call but he had dishonest actors around him and a media that would have crucified him had he ignored them. Trump made some mistakes but quickly realized he was duped and adjusted best he could. Yeah the buck does stop with him but he got really bad advice from some really bad actors.
