Unfortunately, the more Trump tweets threatening to do something, the less likely he is to actually do it.
Now if he's tweeting about it AFTER he's already done it, that's obviously a different story.
But conditional threats a la, "If so and so doesn't stop such and such, why I'll____," don't usually get followed through on.
He should have already done this 8 months ago instead of sending troops random other places just to annoy Democrats.

I mention all this because the statement released by his DOJ (Blanche) serves as a primer for that very proclamation, making clear what he intends to do if necessary.
In effect, the case for action is now being made to the public and to those who are acting unlawfully that it's coming lest they change their ways, stat!
Spoiler Alert: They won't. They'll only grow more violent b/c it's clear that they've passed the point of no return...and Trump isn't going to change course. Nor should he.

There are 2,000 armed federal agents in Minneapolis right now, and you’re telling me that we need the military too?
Instances of illegal conduct should be charged with a crime and end with an arrest. But being mean to ICE officers and saying stuff to them is not against the law even if you think it’s distasteful. We don’t need military intervention in the United States.

Amazed that Federal government has not stepped in to squash this obvious illegal activity. Meet these insurrectionist with overwhelming force and this BS stops immediately. Allowing this type of illegal interference with law enforcement only encourages more disobedience. Defund the sanctuary cities and states. Go to the jails where these illegals criminals are housed with federal warrants to take into custody. Federal law trumps state law every time. Supremacy law still in effect. Charge the people ignoring the federal detainers with aiding and abetting. Time to be proactive and not reactive.

Find the people and groups funding this and charge them with attempting to incite insurrection (under 18 U.S.C. § 2383 and give them all the max penalty (10 years, 250k fine and a permanent lifetime ban on holding public office).

Kind of a losing battle in Minnesota. Saw a video yesterday of an illegal delivering doordash and she just ran into some random lady's house to escape ICE, and the lady actually harbored her and stood there absolutely losing her shite on ICE and threatened to literally kill them, and still they eventually just left without apprehending the illegal woman even though they had an active warrant for her on hand.
It's a catch 22 because of how radical the State of Minnesota is, and it's hyper-progressive SSRI-fueled citizenry. You use the Insurrection Act and the braindead citizens are going to consider it a literal act of war. And all their TikTok videos will pull at the heart strings of all the emotional retards from coast to coast.
This is a complete shite show that has been masterfully orchestrated for 70 years.

That's what we did back in 2020. Donald was afraid he'd lose the election if he actually tried to do anything. He stood aside and watched it all burn. Billions of dollars worth of private property was destroyed. Lives and livelihoods were lost.
The difference now? Mainly the fact that Federal agents and property are being threatened, we can't have that.
