That montage is all about his record from 2016-2020 when he started no new wars. There are no clips of him promising not to go to war in the future.

This mashup is pretty good, too. These guys will parse it and point to him saying "neverending" and "endless" in most statements. He does say at the end, "what would happen if we had a war, we won't, with me. But, you will have World War III, I believe, without me."

I believe Trump honestly meant it when he campaigned on no new wars. I’m beginning to believe Trump is either being blackmailed by Israel or that he’s mentally compromised and is being taken advantage of by his son in law and/or sons.
There is no way on earth 2018 Trump would have attacked Iran. The reason I believe that is because he would have factored in closing the Straits.
This is the biggest blunder of his political career and there is no good way out of it.
