He didn't say when they would pay for it.

Don't worry, folks, America will recoup her investment from Mexico and then some in due course.

Come on man

If you want the wall and it gets funded by the tax payers that should be good enough for you

You don't have to cling to some ridiculous fiction about Mexico funding it

Probably more difficult than you would think

You can use a number of different free apps to transfer money

All you need to make it happen is creative accounting.

You don’t have to cling to the “meaningless fiction” that money isn’t fungible so the gains from the new trade deal don’t matter.

You have to be pretty damn stupid to ever have believed Mexico was paying for the wall.

He also didn't say HOW. I guess liberals can only think of one way that things can be paid for. The reduction of illegal aliens from our southern border and the strain they put on the American welfare system(s) could help tremendously in the form of paying for the wall too.

Mexico can't pay for something that doesn't get built.

The interpretation of this statement right here separates the non-creative mind from the creative mind.

"Mexico will pay for the wall" interpretation from the non-creative mind literally means Mexico will write a check for wall construction.

"Mexico will pay for the wall" interpretation from the creative mind spans the gamut of ideas starting with Mexico will write a check for wall construction to fiscal offsets from savings, trade rebalancing, remittance taxes, etc., etc.

President Trump most certainly falls in the latter category. He's a successful business man and one trait that is pretty consistent across successful business people is the ability to think creatively on the fly.

If this president can nip illegal immigration in the bud with the help of a physical wall the costs savings from reduced illegal immigration will more than offset the measly costs of a physical wall. Hell, the re-balancing of trade in the new USMC trade agreement will offset the measly costs of a wall.

The wall is a good business decision.

Enforcing our current laws and auditing welfare would do most of that legwork. The sticker price and O&M is not going to be recouped solely based on its existence. The sooner this is accepted, the better for pro-wall people to begin to dismantle anti-arguments.

Mexico agrees to keep non Mexican “asylum” seekers while we process them.

Pelosi full of shite when she lied to everyone that the House wouldn’t vote the $5 billion.

I’m betting on the Crazy Orange Bastard.
