Was he the one who ragged on Bradyball at its peak and made everyone irate?
ETA: I could be wrong but I think he wrote a column predicting that Chris Porter and Auburn would stomp LSU. Brady & Co pulled off the W and then this Santora fella got a ton of backlash... Or something

I'm kind of in shock bc Mr. Paul wasn't sick at all. He was spry and with it but had an accident and died unexpectedly

He was an interesting old man. 87 years young. I had only known him about 10 years, but it feels like much longer.
As it is with any interesting old man, he had lots of stories. One of his stories was how at Miami Beach Senior High he was the center on the football team, and a gentleman named Stanley Bertman was the backup center. That tidbit got us to talking about LSU baseball and then LSU football and then sports in general and onto 100 other tangents.
I'll be having Tito's with a splash of ginger ale in his honor tonight.

hope none of them drink Jameson Irish Whiskey - During an African expedition, James Jameson ventured into the Congo, specifically an area inhabited by cannibals. Eager to witness cannibalism firsthand, he bought a young girl from a local family and presented her to the tribe. He observed as the helpless and unfortunate girl was fatally stabbed, killed, and consumed by the tribe.

How about Social Security taxes. It's a damn joke
1. Have a big chunk of your paycheck swiped away all your working life.
2. Get a shitty ROI for this compulsory retirement contribution.
3. Get TAXED on your paltry disbursements once you do finally retire.
