At what point does any president telling us what we can or cannot purchase become an issue? The pendulum swing will be a sight to behold and it will suck.

Let the market speak and be done with it.

Support. You don't get to sell your shite here if we're blocked from doing so over there.

called conservatives would cheer for this. What happened to free market capitalism?

Free market works both ways or it doesn’t work at all. Why is that so hard for filth and cuckservatives to understand?

This is somewhat of a pendulum swing

I distinctly recall watching US manufacturers load up and move production to foreign countries decimating families & towns all across our country including my own. So forgive me for not giving a fiddler's frick about Canadians & others crying about Trump fighting to somewhat even up some of the deals that have been taking advantage of us for many years

Some of you folks can't see the forest for the trees

I’m sorry to hear that and I hope your family made it through those times in a better place. But it has absolutely nothing to do with a president declaring what can and cannot be purchased. This is an assault on the market, the American consumer and businesses. I cannot cheer that on no matter how well intentioned he may be. As has been pointed out Bombardier has US facilities from coast to coast. So whether he realizes it or not he has put a target on those communities and families directly and the companies that form the supply chain as this ripples outward. It’s a self inflicted wound. Leave the market the hell alone. Consumers will decide what they want. You do not want any president deciding, on a whim, that such and such cannot be purchased. That’s an extraordinarily slippery slope to find yourself on.

I like them both and have both. Was leaning towards Can-Am for my next sxs but would be happy with Polaris again.

U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) issued this statement on Facebook:
"The presence of Bombardier in Wichita supports a local workforce of more than a thousand employees, who contribute their talent and expertise to our nation’s defense and aerospace capabilities.

This afternoon, I reached out to the Trump administration to make certain the President is aware of the significant contributions of Bombardier to Kansas and the importance of its presence in Wichita to many Kansas workers at Bombardier and in the Bombardier supply chain.

I will continue working to see that Bombardier’s manufacturing operations not only remain in Kansas but continue to grow and create American jobs. Kansas is home to a hardworking, skilled workforce, and I will continue welcoming leaders in aircraft and defense manufacturing to do business here in the Air Capital of the World."

What constraints has Canada had on American goods being sold over there and for how long?

Answer that and we can talk about the "free" market economy.

For me this is nothing to do with Canada specifically and everything to do with consumer choice, free enterprise and an overreaching president interfering with those things. I would be objecting to this regardless of who is in the White House. If we were in a war with Canada I’d have a different take. But we aren’t even close to that happening and we never will be. It’s Canada.

You are going to be very hard pressed to find someone that has as much of a dislike of Canada as myself. My post history will clearly show that.

Yeah. This is what I want. A president that tells us what we can and cannot buy.

The problem is Trump swing the pendulum to the Left. And the Leftist aren’t going let it fly back to center.
