Bombardier is Gulfstream’s main competitor and Canada is refusing to certify the Gulfstream GVIII like a bunch of bitches. This is a solid move by Trump

You do realize that Embraer is a Brazilian company.. .... so you trade Canada for Brazil? BTW Bombardier has a pretty hefty assembly operation in Wichita and Indiana and buys lots of parts from American suppliers. Also the Pentagon has a pretty hefty contract with Bombardier building ISR platforms

It’s not really that hefty. Maybe like 20 airplanes max. Probably less.

Yeah I think GS spent many millions trying to get certified for the better part of a decade only to be shut out & Trump forced Canada to act much like he is doing here again

It took Trump pressuring them to do it, of course. And I don't blame Trump for behaving this way. The Canadians do all sort of shite to protect their industries.
