I was raised (as my grandmother said raised like a good crop you didnt "grow up" like a weed) in Huntsville Alabama.
We were building rockets to send to the moon, rattling windows for miles around, testing fuel (some of it still buried out there in bunkers), lost some astronauts along the way, but nothing was gonna stop us.
Little Trini was told to stick his head under his desk (first clear his desktop, though I never understood why a flying pencil would matter if a nuke dropped on me) cause them Ruskies were gonna target us, but it didnt stop us.
Cause we were America, bigger, faster, and better.
Now.....awwwweeee its gonna raise my power bill the chini told me. awweeee the water will escape and cause cancer the chini told me. awwwee Id rather speak mandarin cause AI gonna take my job.

Folks won't like it, but he is correct. BTW, not all 'data centers' are the same -- Even I don't like crypto-currency mining.
