Again, you probably want to watch the video...but again, what does any of this matter? The only people wetting themselves over Trumps words and how literal he is, are liberals and the media. They are inconsequential and praised terrorist leaders because Trump had them killed. If those are the people who's opinions you are concerned about, then you're opinions are of no value to anyone either.

His approval ratings were higher and climbing when Pence was doing a lot of the press stuff.

That was actually a softball question which gave him an opportunity to just make the clear statement that people shouldn't take what he said as some kind of instruction.
