Lsu game. Plus I read he hired his own protection firm along with the untrusted Gov protection.

They look prepared.

Given the response to him being shown at the game, I'd imagine there aren't many people there that would have tried anything.

Scary thought but I don’t blame him.

Is that real? Would they pop a .50 cal in a stadium full of people?

I saw them from my seat. The cool thing is those snipers were there even after he left the stadium. Apparently they are supposed to be in position from wheels up to wheels down.

Don’t see a 50 cal there. Probably .300 win mag or similar but the answer is yes If there was a verified threat. That dude could properly hit a tennis ball anywhere in that stadium.

Two things I love: football and high-powered rifles.

To save the President?

They would take out the whole stadium before they let the President die..

Looks like the one sitting down is the spotter and the one one standing up is the sniper.

I'm glad he is taking his security seriously because it's probably just a matter of time before some unhinged lib makes a go for him. The media is stoking the anger at him just like they did the police a few years back and the result of that was five murdered cops in Dallas.

I'm still convinced the media is just as guilty of those deaths as the thug who pulled the trigger and they are doing it again now. Trump's security needs to be ever diligent

I would hope that's real. Here's what's unreal.....we're all witnesses to an ongoing coup to oust the POTUS from office which is pretty fricking unbelievable.

There are snipers stationed on the top of Tiger Stadium for every LSU game..I wasnt aware of this til last season when i saw one headed to his post with all his equipment and gear, up near the suites; talked to a couple of stadium workers and they confirmed that this is standard procedure since there are over 100k people gathered in one place and you never know what might go down... as i mentioned in another thread , it wouldnt surprise me if there were a higher number of snipers at this weekend’s game since trump was in attendance, but either way, i hope we never need them to do their job at a game.

no its more of a logistics situation. you dont want a group of heavily armed people trying to transport said weapons through a crowded stadium where accidents and even an attempted theft could occur. yes its very slim odds that something happens, but they wont risk those things when there is no need to.

they have teams "on site" as well as mobile teams that follow the POTUS

yeah they don't mess around with the president. when Obama rolled through my town they shutdown the southern part of interstate. I've been to a couple of presidential events both republican and democrats. The SS don't play at all. I think I remember hearing someone say they plan multiple routes and then choose one day of event. The person that explained it to me was police and said the reason for it is so that local law enforcement doesn't tip anyone off and obviously it would be beneficial in the event there was something bad happen there would be multiple extraction points.
