re: Is the 45ACP overrated as a handgun cartridge? - spudz
The 45 Acp became popular in one of the world wars. In the Phillipines, in the trenches, drug hyped enemy would charge in the trench and the 38 was not stopping them. The idea of getting hyped up on drugs and charging goes back to the viking days when it was termed " Going Bezerk " [/quote...

re: Been putting Livescope to work on crappie the last few weeks - spudz
Only bass I chase these days are in a pond. Now when I take my boat out, I focus on crappie and catfish. It’s more action packed and keeps the kids entertained. What depth were you catching them at? ...

re: Cooking Pheasant - spudz
I have had the luxury of being apart of a few pheasant shoots with clients and other instances were paid shoots. Long story short, most people don’t want the birds at the end and I end up with them. I have cooked them about every way you can imagine and nothing compares to frying them. I like to...

re: Best cellular deer cam - spudz
I really like my Tactacam Reveal X. This is my first ever cell can so I do not have any experiences or comparisons with other brands. I bought a few back in July and have been really impressed. The range on the camera is unreal. I have one set up on a field edge and I have a pic of a combine picking...

re: Shotgun REC needed - spudz
Man I am very pro-gun, but I was once 20 and had disposable income and lived with some buds. It was not a time for me to have guns in the apartment/house and I don't recommend it. Those situations have lots of drinking and shenanigans, and I wouldn't be worried about your boy, but some dumba*...

re: Any boat mechanics here? - spudz
Yea I’m thinking you don’t have enough amps in your batteries. I have seen batteries over 12V and have half of their amps in storage. A troller will eat amps. I would also double check your wiring schematic. I have seen many mix ups between hooking batteries up in a series vs. parallel. ...

re: Reelfoot Lake Shooting - Full Story - spudz
What about the snippet where the authorities smelled the propane from a ways off and found burnt paper towels in the grill? Are they suggesting the old man made it to the blind to warm up or is it the survivor trying to burn down the evidence? That’s an odd part of the story too ...

When something goes bump in the night, I want to be able to positively identify my target. I have the Streamlight HLX with the Cloud Defensive mount to hold the pressure pad securely. [link=(https://www.clouddefensive.com/product/lcs-streamlight-hlx-kit/)]It is a very impressive setup IMO[/link]...

re: Someone school me on Federal SYNTECH ammo - spudz
Supposedly it was created as plinking ammo destined for steel targets. I am not sure of the logic behind it but I’ve burned about 150 rounds of it on cardboard and haven’t had any issues with ejection or barrel wear, that sort of stuff. ...
