Just an FYI, Columbus Day came about as a diplomatic rection to an outraged Italy and Italian Americans from President Benjamin Harrison in 1892 from the largest one day lynching in U.S. history. 11 Italians were lynched in NOLA (President Harrison gave the families $25K at the time for reparations).
