Is his point wrong? Why don't you try debating for once instead of making stupid comments.

The LEFT is who is responsible for high oil prices. They are the ones that caused the exodus of refineries from California. They are the reason Russia and Ukraine or at war. The US gov't preTrump created the situation with them. And the war in Iran has been there for the taking for nearly 50 years and nobody did anything about it. And don't tell me the Bushes weren't part of the left. Just like don't tell me the other republicans aren't also in bed with the left.
They lie and say they are conservative just so there won't be a civil war. They happily play along letting the USA slide towards communism and refuse to lift a finger to stop it.

Just think. The dude has been posting here for 22 years just waiting for his time to say something critical of Trump so you could cry about it.

Well what it proves, contrary to what DJT said, we are not totally self sufficient in all things.

Most economic experts already agreed that diesel prices were due to Ukraine.
That was before the Russian deal.

Cool story im glad his boss came to his senses and called out Z. These wars need to end, no one benefits from any of this.
Well except the American politicians laundering money.

Internationally, it's the war in Ukraine and the Iran War limiting supply,
Buuuuuut... we produce far more than we use so we export quite a bit. That helps insulate us against global prices to an extent, but the brunt of the reason of that extent is the EPA and nature groups making is detrimentally expensive to build new refineries and pipelines as well as expanding existing ones in PADD 5 (West Coast) and PADD 1 (East Coast, but for this topic it's especially the Northeast).
PADD 1 imports a larger percent of its diesel than any other PADD, and it's not even close (8%-15% versus the 2nd highest, PADD 5 at 3%-6%). What this looks like in raw numbers is:
PADD 1 (East Coast) imported barrels Feb-July: ~5M barrels per month
PADD 5 (West Coast) imported barrels Feb-July: ~400k barrels per month
PADD 2 (Midwest) imported barrels Feb-July: ~350k barrels per month
PADD 4 (Rocky Mountains) imported barrels Feb-July: ~300k barrels per month
PADD 3 (Gulf Coast) imported barrels Feb-July: so close to zero it doesn't matter
The only "quick fix" for diesel is for the wars to end. The best long-term fix is to expand our infrastructure so we aren't having to import any at all.
