Most economic experts already agreed that diesel prices were due to Ukraine.
The Iran war has had some impact as well. So in reality t's both Ukraine and our "conflict" in Iran causing most of the problems here.
It's also particularly bad timing because of peak diesel demand season

Have any of the folks who laugh at the idea of the United States having more or less been in a state of “war” with Iran for a number of decades, have we seen anything from that group explaining the theory that Trump up and decided to start a war with Iran for no real reason? I can’t recall having seen anything to that effect. And something other than “Because Israel commanded him to,” if it’s not too much to ask. We’ve seen that one copied and pasted plenty enough times.

Yeah the post is wrong, there is a reason the US refinery capacity is lower than it should be and it has nothing to do with Iran or Russia but hey vote for the Democrats who have closed refineries in California and the Northeast expecting them to lower prices. As I said in another thread, it’s time to give the country to the Left and let them destroy it then maybe all of the principled conservatives and moderates will reap what they have sown over the last several decades. I doubt people will wake up but it’s time for the Ken’s and Karen’s with their Teslas to be culturally enriched

The high prices are about shortages. If Russia was impacted by Zylinski's drone strikes as the propaganda media reports, then how could Putin make this deal with Trump????? The problem is the "market price" which is controlled by the speculators and multi national corporations, most based in London.
The progressive propaganda news makes a big deal about some drone strikes and the globalist in London raise the market price.
Trump bypassed the middle men and went to the source, Russia.
Propaganda kool aid not only rots your teeth, it rots your brain.

I’ve said from beginning that US will gladly fight Russians to the last Ukrainian. Ukraine has a choice of grinding war or be a satellite of Russia. They’ve done that before and didn’t like it.

Is his point wrong? Why don't you try debating for once instead of making stupid comments.
Debate what? He provided no evidence to support his claim. And then you ran in here saying he is right and again provided no evidence.
Do you understand that debate requires evidence to support your position? Otherwise, you're just making stupid comments.

The Iranian war directly took 1.5 million barrels per day of Middle East diesel off the world market. This is roughly 5% of world wide consumption. Prior to Ukraine war Russia exported around 1 million barrels per day of diesel. There was enough worldwide capacity to absorb one of these, but not both. Iran pushed the world into a supply crunch. This isn’t an opinion, it’s math.

So it’s got nothing to do with Iran War and Strait being shut down, blame Dems for trumps mistakes, that sounds about right for maga

Remember when Biden was president and he said "Don't" and Putin said frick you and invaded Ukraine.
Posted on 10/10/26 at 3:35 pm to Tigergreg
I think the whole thing may’ve already been kicked off when Biden said to don’t. Classic Biden. But seriously though, IMO, while of course Putin and Russia had been preparing for this for some time, ie didn’t just get up on the wrong side of the bed one day and order an invasion of Ukraine, there was one precipitous event that definitively set it into motion: it was Biden’s indescribably botched withdrawal from and abandonment of Afghanistan. That snafu clearly signaled to Putin a literal once in a lifetime opportunity to move on Ukraine with a more or less impotent, disorganized and passive United States on the sidelines.

Because anybody with a brain knows that diesel was at $3.60/gallon around February 2026 then jumped to around $5.60 by April 2026.
What happened during that time?

Did you read my post??? Why would you say that I said it had nothing to do with Iran when I specifically mentioned Iran?

Well, he is Putin’s puppet.

Not starting new conflicts in the Middle East would be a start
