Trump: Iran deal to be signed within next 2-3 hours, criticizes Israel for Beirut strikes

The President told me he will ask Iran not to respond with missile fire toward Israel.
More on @FoxNews.
In a separate interview, Trump told Fox News’s Trey Yingst he called Netanyahu and said “What the f*ck are you doing?”
The president told Ravid that the signing of a peace deal with Iran was “delayed” as a result of the Israeli strikes, but said the deal remains on track.
“It shook it up,” Trump said. “It delayed the signing by a few hours. It was supposed to be now. Now it is scheduled for a few hours from now.”
In an earlier Truth Social post, the president wrote, “This morning’s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran. Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process. We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it!”

He wants the deal to be signed so badly on his birthday. It’s not a coincidence after all this back and forth that it would be signed today, I hope he isn’t giving in on his original terms just to do so.

One thing this whole ordeal has taught me is that the US military is basically a jobs program for men who fricked around in high school and had no other future opportunity,
There is no reason to have such a high number of soldiers if you are afraid to use them.
You cannot win military without some death. Soldiers are *supposed* to know that when they enlist. Yet so many people, including people on this board, think we should just have all these troops lounging around at their bases collecting paychecks and generous health insurance

What a stupid post. We don’t want an expensive drawn out ground war.

It makes no sense to have this many troops employed by the government of you are afraid of ground wars
It’s a waste of labor.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Infantry maybe. But I know more than a few career army guys who have multiple college degrees and I’d def want on my side if shite goes south.

This war gonna end when Israel says it's gonna end. Not before and especially not on Trump's birthday.
In the meantime, Ww3 rolls on ...

Time to give Israel and Ukraine the good bye wave.

I don’t think we’re afraid of ground wars
I think we just don’t want to fight them on behalf of other countries

Our son was not stellar in high school
Made a very deliberate and mindful decision to join the military and selected the USAF
He served 5 years, 2 tours to Iraq, and experienced more of the world than 95% of Americans
He served honorably and can work circles around the aforementioned 95%
Some folks need to post a lot less -- especially when their life experiences would be challenged to fill a sewing thimble

Guess we will see who is telling the truth shortly, but the bolded is just funny... so its not really a deal even if its signed. Technical talks would be next week. Jesus Christ this is such a clusterfrick.
quote:
In coordination with the United States, Qatari negotiators flew to Tehran Sunday morning to help facilitate the finalization of the agreement, a source with knowledge of the situation told NBC News.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a key mediator, said on X early Saturday that finalization was “likely expected in the next 24 hours,” with Pakistan “preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after, followed by technical level talks next week.”
But Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said later on Saturday that “it will not be tomorrow,” according to Iranian state media, without giving a reason for an apparent delay.

You kidding me? Not only is that guy a pussy but he is way, way to big of a piece of shite to man the wall that protects democracy.
He deserves every single difficult and painful thing that drifts his way.

It's actually one of the things our military does best. Apparently HHTM thinks we should use our armed forces as cannon fodder and sacrificial lambs. What a stupid thought to have.

It's a reasonable position. And one more presidents should have had. Another drawn out ground campaign in the middle east does nothing to benefit the United States or any of our citizens.
