I can guarantee you, anybody that’s ever run for mayor or city council in Detroit is on record saying the exact same things.

It was not a insult. Just talking about manufacturing jobs leaving the state. This fake outrage does not work just like spending 1 billion on lying ads isn't working. The more desperate they become, the more you will see fake outrage like this

I'm sure most of the people in Michigan know that Detroit went from being a thriving major city to being a hellhole with a fraction of its prior population in less than 70 years.
Those that were "offended" were just because they knew what he said was true.

By now you can’t rely on reporting of Trump. You need to watch the speech and make up your own decision.

How is this an insult? I guarantee you the people of Michigan know it’s a shithole. If someone came to bham and called the city a crime infested dump, I’d nod my head in agreement… the ridiculous bridge you’re trying desperately to cross is that by calling the city a fricking dump, he’s calling the residents of the city trash as well.

Is all of Minnesota a shite hole because of Minneapolis?
Is all of Florida a shite hole because of parts of South Florida?
There are beautiful parts of every state. The northern part of NY is stunning with its rolling green hills and mountains. NYC, while cool in some ways, is a shite hole in others.
Hell, believe it or not, there are pretty parts of NJ.
