This is great i hope he wins. Wish he could some how sue the Canadian banks who debanked the truckers as well. Hopefully this will set some sort of precedent for the future here.

It should be double that, and it still wouldn't be enough.

With discovery, somewhere there will be documentation from the infamous Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to these banks.

JPMorgan and others are very aware that offices are held by opposing parties at some point and payback, ie a 5 billion dollar lawsuit, would be on the horizon. You can bet your tail they kept a dead man's memo trail for just such a reason.

Pocahontas invented the cfpb. Its the only agency in our entire govt with no oversight. They were designed to help the poor minority getting ripped off on interest rates. They have done such a good job that "payday" loan companies can now sponsor stadiums and bowl games.

Pocahontas used it to destroy anyone associated with crypto and many conservative companies, non green companies etc. Pushed out smaller banks who did not play by their rules and rewarded the ones that did.....like JP Morgan.

The fines they collected? Some went to consumers but they have a huge balance from the 12 billion they collected. Much of which went to ngos to "educate" consumers.....hmmmm wonder who those were.

Trump knows this and so does Jamie Dimon, Trump will probably settle this out of court with little fight.

Good... he/they deserve it, pay pal did the same thing to Flynn Trump needs to sue Dimon and Chase separately,

For a guy that's supposed to be smart, he wasn't smart enough to think this could happen....all Democrats do this at every level, they are so ate up with TDS they just aren't able to see past the end of their noses.

Wonder why you never see conservatives starting fights, burning cars, shooting schools up killing kids,

It's because the Right can THINK! some push back, but they don't start shite, All I can say you better be able to defend yourself if you find yourself in a situation

Semper ubi sub ubi!

What is the preponderant evidence that Trump was debanked for political reasons? He was widely thought to have committed a crime of insurgency; he was accused of raping a woman; God knows what else.

They would have to emails to that effect. But I doubt it reaches the point of discovery. JP Morgan Chase cannot afford to have the president undermining them, and $5 billion is 10% of annual earnings. They’ll probably negotiate something lower and pay the danegeld.

Let’s take a brief inventory of the Trump dictator shakedown demands:

$10 Billion demand to be transferred to Trump directly from the IRS;
$5 Billion demand to be transferred directly to Trump from JP Morgan;
$230 Million demand to be transferred directly to Trump by DOJ for investigation in Florida;
$15 Billion demand to be transferred directly to Trump by the New York Times;
$5 Billion demand to be transferred directly to Trump by the BBC.

And that is before the voluntary payouts from middle eastern governments and organizations and crypto scams.

And this is cheered?

I didn't say I hope THEY decline to settle.

I said I hope HE declines to settle.

And takes it all the way though court proceedings.

I think he’s after the money. He’s settled with everyone else so far. But I would also like to see them punished. Debanking is an awful thing. It is running rampant in Europe and the UK.

I am not sure what the retribution should be for his having to spend over $100 million on lawyers to get through the lawfare bullshite he had to deal with from 2020 until 2024, but don't start no shite and there won't be no shite!

JP Morgan has a market cap of $800B. They are violating people's rights. $5B seems awfully low. Why isn't the DOJ in on this as well? Trump should make it at least $500B for punitive reasons, to insure it never happens again. Then again, they are violating rights so perhaps he should go straight to eminent domain or asset forfeiture.
