The thing about the “mean tweets” is that Trump used to mean tweet about the left, or about these fake republicans, and they all deserved at least most of what he said about them. There had been way too much fake nice in DC for too long, with polite people with big smiles selling us all down the river.
But now his mean tweets are about war and death and destruction that he is choosing. You can defend this stuff if you want, but don’t try to act like what we are seeing this last month is the same as what we saw before. Some people think he has lost his mind, and he is giving them reason to think that.

This entire cascading global catastrophe flows from that massive blunder.
