Also confused? I assess this is probably due to the general aimless war strategy and unclear objectives. For example, in February, Trump claimed he was going to “destroy their missiles.” Then in May, he said it would be “a little unfair” if Iran didn’t have missiles although their neighbors did.

I get there’s plenty behind the scenes that may make it much more coherent

But publicly the objectives sure seem wishy washy. Which makes charting a path challenging.

Not at all, I'm just confirming you have no idea what the political objectives consist of or a realistic idea of how long those objectives should take .

Then you should be very concerned your tax dollars paid for the murder of nearly 100 girls in a school and who knows how many civilians in these "unleash hell" campaigns... because that will create a population that is determined to get nukes specifically for war in the future. This isn't about "security". It's about money. It's always about money. And we aren't the "good guys" here. We started this shite. Twice.

I do agree we should have kept the foot on the gas until the begged for a deal that was exactly what we wanted.

Give them two choices. It’s not negotiation. It’s either capitulation or elimination

Iran was not a threat to the United States

Iran has been an exporter of terror for a very long time.

But in reality, this is just an additional part of the war against radical Islam.
Trump went after ISIS and gutted them in Syria.

And it is not just Israel who wants to see the insane leadership of Iran be taken out. Most of the other regional leaders are tired of Iran's irrational behavior.

Meanwhile, both Russia and China have been weakened by Iran's diminished infrastructure to produce weapons and significantly reduced oil production.

With our recent treaty involving the Strait of Malacca, the moves to regain control in Panama, and the reduction of Venezuela, we now have way more leverage over China.

You have to be a total moron not to appreciate what Trump has accomplished.

There's a time-honored military adage: you either lead, you follow, or get the h*ll out of the way. Trump is doing none of the three, and that's a problem.

Funny how the war isn't over by any stretch. We control the skies and the waters and you somehow conclude that it was a botched mistake. I sense your judgement is clouded byTDS and a lack of common sense.

We controlled the sky and water in Iraq and Afghanistan too. How'd that turn out?

Have you ever heard an idiom referring to apples and oranges? It applies here.

Simple. I was against new wars until Trump wanted this one. Trump hasn’t been wrong yet. If you don’t trust him get fricked and out of the country

Millennium Challenge

Millennium Challenge is one.

More recent ones have been referenced in the press, but war games are typically classified. That means you need the requisite clearance and need to know. You’re unlikely to find classified war game results online.
