He is correct that closing the long term care psychiatric facilities was a catastrophic mistake.

But they won’t be reopened. Not going to happen.

You had no idea he signed an EO in July. You claimed you were right and Trump had done nothing

Of course I did. It’s posted in this very thread before my post. And like almost all of his (((executive orders))) it’s vague with no firm plan going forward.
You just need to make up scenarios to fill your need to talk down to everyone. You know…hubris
It’s all you bring

Massively support this.

Me too! We should not re-make the same mistakes that we made in the 60s and 70s, but we went way too far in dismantling that.

I think there's a huge stigma towards these places based off of the horror stories from days past. I know that a lot of that was Hollywood fabrication and media exaggeration, but it's part of the public opinion I think.

scientology fights against them.

The governor's early June veto of Senate Bill 359 caught many of the measure’s proponents off-guard. The legislation had sailed through the House and Senate with little debate and only a handful of negative votes.

They'll have to triple the amount of new institutions if TDS gets labeled, already too many bipolar far left lunatics as it is!

Look at the post immediately prior to yours.
The EO from last August directing Bondi and RFK Jr to look into things? You expect that to produce anything? Bondi is gone and RFK Jr is looking into all of his nutty theories about vaccines.

In his Parkland rant he also riffed about taking guns without due process. No plan behind anything, just throwing out random thoughts. Like I said, I would love to reverse the shutting down of mental health facilities under Reagan, but Trump would have to put money behind it, and his admins are already responsible for more national debt than anyone else.

I've already been tapped to run the camp we are opening here in rural Caddo Parish - 1000 acre facility. Its being built under the guise of a "data center"

I’m not a big Trump fan but will give credit when it’s due. The border and now this are things I fully support.
