OK?? So, what's up with this repost of a video from Sept '18? Everyone here responded as if it were new. I guess that's the idea?

Can anyone make a list of this board's left-wingers? just asking.

Damn, and for once I though actually thought that Alisa made a post that wasn't worthless.

This has had to happen for far too long long the only problem is implementation. Because before you know it it will be blocked by a liberal lawless fricking judge that nobody seems to want to do nothing to stop them.

Old video. They aren’t coming back.

Should have been done a long time ago and I don't know whose decision it was to shut them down but they need to be thoroughly tarred and feathered
IIRC it came from lawsuits, particularly in California.

It's not a bad idea.
The problem is that it's prohibitively expensive to do correctly.
And if done on the cheap, leads to horrible scenarios that will lead to the public seeking their closure again.
Geraldo destroyed the whole industry.

We need to be cutting spending, not adding on huge spending programs.

Or fraud - it’s a major issue
Ignoring mental health isn’t an option

We are in desperate need of this. The only thing that makes this difficult is finding people to work in them. When I was working at East Louisiana State Hospital in Jackson the staff turnover rate was like 70% or some crazy arse number that they told us at orientation. Working with that population is not easy and there are very few people who can handle it.
With AI coming, hiring won’t be as much of an issue as
People will have to learn to serve others.

While we're on the topic of psychotropics...be aware that hospitals also use them on their patients. My greatgrandpa was admitted to the hospital years ago and he never had any dementia type problems but when I went to see him, he didn't know who I was and I'd seen him and grandma often right before that.
Also there is a synthetic opioid called tramadol that can cause cognitive problems. I know two people who have had serious problems with the short term use of it.
AI Overview
Research indicates a link between long-term or high-dose tramadol use and cognitive decline. Short-term use typically causes temporary sedation or confusion. The cognitive impact is often attributed to the drug's action on neurotransmitter systems (like serotonin and dopamine) and its interference with brain receptors (such as NMDA) that are crucial for memory formation
In elderly patients, tramadol can cause significant cognitive impairment, including acute delirium, confusion, and fluctuating mental states. Recent research suggests that prolonged cumulative use of tramadol in older adults is associated with a higher risk of developing all-cause dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.

When the left gets back in power they will use them to send political opposition, cause if you don't contribute to their power grabs you have to be crazy

You think fedgov spending tens/hundreds of billions of dollars extra on this program would decrease fraud?

Nope
But we’ve already exposed plenty that needs to be addressed - and put measures in place to minimize it, moving forward
Still need to address the mental issues in this Country

how many hours until MSM starts labeling them as detention camps for liberals?
Statistically liberals suffer from mental issues at a much higher rate, so there would be truth to that reporting, which probably means they won't report it.
