IMO this is where map would essentially be right now if you called all but the most hotly contested swing states

NM, ME, and CO are not tossups.

They are hardcore blue.

NH will be red

DE is in play

That map is solid. I don't see any of those red states going the other way, ditto for those marked blue.

If your goal is to get 270 starting the game with 259 is about as good as you can ask for.

I think people are underrating just how much moderate Dems don’t want a socialist president. They might not vote for Trump but they sure as hell don’t want a radical fricking socialist running the country. The current DNC does not equal their at-large voter base.

If Bernie is the Democrat bucking for POTUS, I see something closer to Reagan/Mondale for the map.

Bernie may get one or two states, but that's about it.

A lot of D voters will stay home while R voters will make damned sure the commie gets destroyed. I can't see very many independents going for Bernie.

The same folks that put PA, WI, and MI in for Trump in 2016 will do it for him again in 2020. Union guys hate Bernie despite what their leaders say.

I have no faith whatsoever in "moderate" Democrats.

There was a time when those people existed and were sane, see 1984. They saw what a kick arse job Reagan was doing and happily voted for him despite him being a Republican.

Trump's Presidency has been an off the charts success. If these moderate Democrats were sane his approval ratings would be off the charts.

At this point anybody the least bit moderate is a Republican or an Independent.

Democrats are so up to their necks in TDS they would vote for Osama Bin Laden over Trump if he had a (D) next to his name.

they might be off the charts. We'll never get honest results from the propaganda machine.

Agreed. However, this is the time where Trump needs to take advantage of the situation, and try to lure these voters over instead of blasting the whole Democratic party (and voters) as a bunch of idiots

Those 29 FL EVs in the bag already is yuuuuge.

Is AZ sufficiently done deal? 2016 wasn't prettiest of margins and McSally sucks so much AZ is about to have 2 Dem Senators.

I agree. I've been watching all of the lunacy from the left, these past three years, and thinking that there is no way the average, rank and file Democrat could possibly stand for any of this. And recently, there have been a number of stories and audio/video clips popping up with Democrats calling into radio and TV stations and saying "these people are all communists. There's no way I'm ever voting Democrat again".

So I 100% agree that even if these People don't vote for Trump (and I believe a fairly healthy number of them will, relatively speaking) they will certainly not vote for any of the candidates the left has put forth.

I believe that 350 plus electoral votes is a very real possibility for Trump. I actually think the number could flirt with 400, but I don't see less than 350.

The governor had 300,000 more votes than she did in 2018

I think trump would win AZ but I don’t think I wouldn’t be confident to make a lock. On the other hand I think there’s a couple of purple states in the northeast in a Trump/Biden election. Connecticut, NH, NJ, ME and DE could all be in play. Also, don’t laugh but Oregon?

There’s a large portion of VA that isn’t too happy with this last general assembly. I think Virginia is actually purple but had a fluke voting season.

Does this map take into consideration all of the states that pledged their EC votes to the popular vote winner?

I mean, if trump wins the popular vote he would also get California, NY, and VA plus others right?

It doesn't kick in until enough states with a majority of electoral votes have pledged their votes.
