I think people aren’t emphasizing the good parts of America enough. It’s a land of true progress but the people all have to work for it.

True. And this is why we need the government to come clean about the "aliens." We eventually need something that will force humanity to look at themselves not as Americans, Europeans, etc, but as one human family instead. It's the only way we are going to transcend differences among the races enough to live together peacefully. Imo

That's all part of it.

The attack on the American identity and the America culture is the springboard for all this. That comes from multiculturalism - the idea that regardless if outcome or historical success, no one culture is superior to another.

Inevitable result? Not sure about that, but this is certainly one possible outcome of multiculturalism. I think it has a better chance of working if it happens organically, but there's no denying that homogeneous populations seem to report higher levels of happiness.

Unfortunately, with the United States and slavery...despite all our efforts, we've never really been able to move beyond it. Or at least some people haven't. And much like issues in a marriage, if you don't work through them then they will flare up every so often and strain the relationship. Both parties have to come to some consensus and agree to move on. People have been telling Americans for years to move on from 9/11 ("some people did something"), yet for some reason we must always live with the albatross of slavery around our necks forever and ever and ever.

True. Killing the melting pot methodology has brought us nothing but conflict.

We will never view ourselves as “one human race”. That’s delusional. Humans survived through incredible adversity as long as we did because we instinctually prefer to be with our pack, which includes being the exact same race.

This is our nature and it’ll never go away. We simply prefer being around people who are exactly like us. Drugged out liberals might disagree, but anyone who has a functioning brain and understands evolution knows that multiculturalism will never work

False. What we are seeing is the inevitable result of socialist type government programs that remove the burden of raising children from the nuclear family and places it on the state, primarily in lower income families.

The lower income families (losers in a capitalist society) continue to fall further and further behind as they attempt to bear fruits of capitalism by using tenants of socialism.

Then when they see that what they are doing isn’t working, they have been taught not to choose a different course (correct back to individual responsibilities and agency) they steer harder towards reducing and relinquishing those responsibilities to someone else.

This isn’t multiculturalism’s fault in a sense of too many Mexicans and Puerto Rican’s and Vietnamese and Germans trying to make it work, it’s the fault of too many people not wanting to own their own destinies.

Anyone who thinks multiculturalism is a good thing has never studied the history of the Austro-Hungarian Empire or the Roman Empire.

If true the USA was a mistake at its inception and should never be attempted by man again. Strange that it has had such a positive impact on mankind but if multiculturalism is at the root of the problem the USA was a mistake from the get go....

You’re right. That’s the reason that multiculturalism is pushed. That’s not a side effect of multiculturalism. It’s the goal.

True

China is a world power. Very little diversity
Russia is a world power very little diversity
Japan is a world power very little diversity
Africa little diversity except North Africa is more Muslim and more middle eastern
Middle East no diversity
Australia little diversity
..
Point being the US is the only country trying this great experiment of multi culturalism to a large degree and we are called racist due to our trying to make this work.

I was thinking about this last night. Anecdotally, white Americans seem to love and embrace other cultures far more willingly than almost any other group. We straight up invited people here with all their traditions and food and ceremonies and said, "do your thing, we're cool with it!" And yet we're labelled as racist and intolerant, it's real weird.
