Zelensky is the same guy. They are both cut from the same cloth.

There are no good guys on either side of this. I feel horrible for the Ukrainian people, but their leaders are shitheads on both sides.

We have zero business getting involved in all of this.

The Russians are not a super power nor do they pose a geo-political threat to the USA. China is our problem. Russia is a 2nd world country at this point.

No one supports Putin. That is a dumb "gotcha" the lazy OT warmongers resort to

We all just think we have our own problems at home and a foreign war isn't our concern and we shouldn't be funding it. We can't even reach an agreement on the debt ceiling and we are still sending them billions.

I think he is. He wants to reunite the old USSR in his lifetime.

I don't support Putin. I'm simply not blinded enough to believe that Joe Biden's objective is to bring Freedom to Ukraine.

There is a monetary objective that is enriching American interests back in the US from Ukraine. Joe Biden poked the wrong bear.

Back at ya! Putin did exactly what the US would have done in similar circumstances(I hope). Another adversarial superpower installing a friendly puppet government in a country that shares our border after we had warned them against that very thing from happening for years.

All that blah blah about NATO countries must apply, be vetted and voted on..... semantics, whomever the US wants in NATO gets in.
You said it in your subject line "European conflict"!!
Let Europe defend themselves, we've propped them up long enough. All the money we have and continue to waste should be put to use here, at home serving the people whom the money belongs.
Other countries would be better off if America would leave em alone and let em take care of themselves.

Son, have you cracked a news site lately? Cos it don't seem like you have. There's basically a Russian civil war going on in Belgorod right now. Maybe Putler should deal with his own backyard before he gets more embarrassed in Ukraine?

At this point it's obvious that Zelensky is much more likely to invade Russia than little vlad is to do anything remotely competent.

Either way, I'm sure you cucks will keep riding Putler's hog, at least until those FSB checks stop clearing.

Russia is actually a 1st world nation, post fall of communism.

1st world nation being those nations allied with the Capitalists/Americans/Western Europeans.

2nd world nations being those allied with the Communists/USSR/China

3rd world nations being those that were not fully in the sphere of the above two

Nah.

I know geography and history are hard, but he's going to have to invade 2 out of 3 of those countries to "reunite the old USSR".

Congratulations on literally disproving yourself. Maybe next time you should review the talking points your Russian handlers provide you a little more closely

Why does this burden fall on the US taxpayers? USSR controlled all these resources before and we did just fine. Let Europe/Asia fund this conflict.

Is vehemently opposing billions of American taxpayer dollars being sent to Ukraine supporting Putin?

Is vehemently opposing billions more in weaponry being sent to Ukraine to kill Russians and entangle the US in a war we have no business in supporting Putin?

Is steadfastly believing that Ukraine is every bit as corrupt and evil as Russia, and that neither are worth one penny of American money or one drop of American blood supporting Putin?

Asking for a friend.

It's not an either or. They are of the "if you're not with us, you're against us" ilk. Kind if like, if you don't support Dem/Prog policies, you're automatically a "racist".

Nah.
All three of those countries are former Soviet Union republics. By going after them Putin would be trying to reconstitute the USSR.

I thought you were better informed than that.

I'm with you on the Putin glorification society.

I'm not with you on the absolute nature of America's need to be deeply involved in this war.

What troubles me most aren't people who support our investment in the Ukraine case - what troubles me are those who do so while wearing blinders to history and pretending there isn't a really high likelihood of very serious and damaging unintended consequences for the United States.
